Booking is conveniently managed online via the Enrolmy platform. You can access the platform through direct links provided in our marketing materials or on our website, or by searching for your child's specific school on the Enrolmy site and selecting 'See Activities'.
We understand that plans can change. You can modify or cancel bookings directly through the Enrolmy platform up to seven (7) calendar days prior to the scheduled start of the session. Please note that cancellations or modifications made within seven (7) days of the session start time will incur the full session fee, as per our Terms and Conditions (Section 4).
All payments are processed via the Enrolmy platform. We accept:
● Tax-Free Childcare (TFC)
● Childcare Vouchers
● Upfront card payments
● Agreed instalment plans
Specific payment due dates are outlined at the time of booking. For details on our areas policy, please refer to our Terms and Conditions (Section 3).
Our collection procedures depend on your child's school:
For Children Attending the On-Site School (where the uKids club is held): The
school will be notified of your child's attendance. Children in Reception to Year 2 (Key Stage 1) will be either directly escorted to the club by a designated school staff member or collected from their classroom by a uKids team member. Children in Year 3 and above (Key Stage 2+) are permitted to make their own way directly to the uKids club. Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring their child understands this procedure and arrives safely.
If your child will not be attending school on a day they are booked into uKids, you must inform uKids directly. Our team verifies attendance with the school before commencing collection procedures. Failure to inform us of an absence may result in unnecessary collection attempts and concern. Please note, refunds or booking transfers are not provided for absences (refer to Terms and Conditions, Section 4).
Our experienced team members are adept at supporting and welcoming all children, especially those who may be feeling nervous. We find that most children settle quickly and become engaged in activities. Should your child require additional support in settling, the on-site manager can provide an update, and you are welcome to contact them directly during session hours.
Session times are specific to each school and can be found on our website and the Enrolmy booking platform. Children must be collected by the published end of session time.
We request that you contact us as soon as possible if you anticipate a late collection. This allows us to inform and reassure your child. Late collections, beyond the predetermined end of session time, will incur a late collection
fee of £10 for the initial 15 minutes, followed by an additional charge of £1 per minute thereafter, as per our Terms and Conditions (Section 5).
Yes, provided they are listed as an approved authorised collector on your child's safety form within your Enrolmy account. For safeguarding purposes, authorised collectors will be required to provide photographic identification upon pick-up. You can also specify individuals who are explicitly not permitted to collect your child via the booking platform.
The safety and welfare of your child is our utmost priority. If a child booked into uKids does not arrive as expected, our team will immediately initiate our 'Missing Child' protocol. This includes contacting the school to confirm attendance and dismissal status, attempting to contact the Parent/Guardian using emergency contact details, and following established safeguarding procedures, which may involve contacting relevant authorities if the child's whereabouts cannot be quickly ascertained.
All uKids sites have qualified Paediatric First Aiders on duty. In the case of minor injuries, an incident and accident report will be completed for your review and notification at collection. For any more significant injuries or illness, you will be contacted immediately. If we deem that your child needs to go home due to sickness, we will contact you to arrange collection.
Yes, we provide a suitable breakfast and a light after-school snack. Sample menus are available on our website. Fresh drinking water is always readily available to all children throughout the sessions.
We are fully committed to meeting the individual dietary requirements of all children. Please ensure you provide comprehensive details on your child’s safety form at the time of booking. Additionally, we encourage you to discuss these requirements with the on-site manager or contact our office team at 0333 772 9574 to ensure all necessary precautions are in place. uKids maintains a strict 'no nuts' policy, though we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment due to the nature of a shared setting.
You can share details of any medical conditions with us when you make your booking via the Enrolmy platform. Our office team will contact you if further information is required. If your child requires medication during the session or for emergency use (e.g., an Epipen), a 'Permission to Administer Medication' form must be completed in advance. This ensures we can administer medication safely and in strict accordance with our Medical Policy. For significant medical conditions or complex needs, please contact our office team directly on
0333 772 9574 or info@u-kids.co.uk to discuss support arrangements.
Yes, all uKids clubs are registered with Ofsted and operate in full compliance with all regulatory requirements. Further information regarding our inspections can be found on the Ofsted website.
uKids clubs are inclusive environments, and we strive to welcome as many
children as possible. To ensure we can provide the best possible support, a member of our office team may contact you to discuss your child's specific needs after booking. If you anticipate that your child will require 1:1 support, please contact our office directly on 0333772 9574 or info@u-kids.co.uk to discuss options and availability of tailored support.
uKids provides a diverse range of engaging activities designed to promote physical activity, creativity, and social development. These include arts and crafts, sports, games, imaginative play, quiet zones for reading or homework, and outdoor play (weather permitting). Our aim is to offer enriching experiences
that cater to various interests.
While we encourage children not to bring valuable items, any lost property found will be stored at the club for a reasonable period. Please contact the on-site manager to inquire about lost items. uKids cannot be held liable for any lost or damaged personal belongings (refer to Terms and Conditions, Section 7).
The direct contact number for the on-site manager at your specific club can be found on our website or provided upon booking confirmation. For general enquiries or during non-session hours, please contact our main office at 0333 772 9574 or info@u-kids.co.uk.
